Hello good visitors! Welcome to Art Gallery 1. There are NEW oil paintings and I wanted to let you know about the availability of "new" oils. A painting done in oil takes a very long time to dry fully. As long as six months. And no, I'm not happy about that either with wet paintings sitting here and there, wondering when one will fall over! But mostly I mention this so you may E-mail me and find out when the work will be available if it says "new", (as in the paintings below). Thank you for stopping by!  Millie

   "Grand Union Canal", an 18" x 24" oil on canvas, by artist Millie Carree. Thank you to Ken Gemell for the photograph that inspired this painting of Bridge # 45 on the Grand Union Canal in England, near Bugbrooke in Northamptonshire. Two swan enjoy the peaceful quite canal.
