"The Belgians" by Millie Carrée
"The Belgians"
A new oil on canvas.

From a photograph by Kay. One adult,
and one sulky teenager Belgian watch
the world go by on a frosty day.
These gigantic draft horses are actually (usually) gentle giants - and gorgeous!!!

We're not sure, but expect this is a mother and her two year old "baby". The mother patient, the young impatient, as in all life.

I now live where the buffalo roam. Really. I think they are the most majestic, beautiful, and ugly animal around here.
Enjoy this quick fine point pen drawing of the creature.

Three male Mallard ducks
chase each other around
in anger or glee - hard to tell.
I choose to believe they
are having fun!
This Wyoming landscape is very like where I grew up. Sagebrush, cactus, alkali flats, the beautiful Palomino horse and the porcupine.

But you can usually suppress he or she with a few pieces of chocolate cake.
A family of coyotes raise their voice to the night sky. The yellow moon calls to them of olden ways. Ways dying soon,
if we don't take care.
"Three Coyotees" by Millie Carrée These happy coyotes are a figment of my mind gone so wrong. But aren't they cute  in their rumpled skins and lumpy bodies? Just for you - Millie
